George Ezra · Music

saviour

Today I’m posting one of my favourite art pieces. There’s something about clean lines that looks so stunning, especially when printed, so I’m very happy when I can achieve a proper clean line look in a piece.

The piece is inspired by Saviour by George Ezra. It’s one of my favourite songs, especially when I get to sing along to it. The album Staying At Tamara’s is a little favourite of mine, one of the first albums I listened to after a phase where I could hardly stand music.

I saw George Ezra at a festival, barely making it into the tent he was playing cause he was so much more popular than when the stage plan had been set up. It was wonderful, but my favourite time seeing him was a bit later in 2015, when I was at barrier for the show because my favourite band were supporting him.

I was so in awe of his stage presence. He drank tea on stage, and I think until that point the only stage drink I’d seen was water or beer, so somehow that was really memorable.

This post is a little late because we got the chance to go to Nijmegen on Saturday to see Nothing But Thieves and it resulted in a wonderful but very busy weekend. Hehe 🙂
